Peer Support Groups
Behind the Line Support holds two monthly in person peer support groups located in Southeastern Massachusetts and are free of charge to attend.
- First Responder Peer Support is held on the first Wednesday of the month and is strictly for first responders only.
- The second Wednesday of the month is our Spouses of First Responders Peer Support which is also open to family members 18 years of age or older.
Our support groups are all peer driven and lead, confidential, and a safe space for you to find your community members. If you’re not comfortable speaking, come and just listen, enjoy a snack and maybe make a friend or two.
Department Trainings
We are currently offering in-person trainings/presentations to those requesting a formal voice regarding first responder mental health. With three presentations currently being offered, if your organization is seeking a voice, please reach out to find out more information.
These trainings are not based off textbooks, college classes, or research material, but created based off real life experiences that everyone can relate.
Apparel
Behind the Line Support has partnered with another first responder owned and operated company, Squad Life, to bring our community members apparel that properly represents our support for first responder mental health. Wearing our “swag” not only helps bring the awareness to first responder mental health, but can also help start a conversation with someone who is looking to help, or someone who wants to be part of the movement. Help spread the word and let’s make a strong community!
